Registered training organisation

Master Builders Queensland is a registered training organisation (RTO # 30097) and as such has agreed to operate within the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

Legislative requirements

Master Builders Queensland meets all legislative requirements of state and federal government. In particular, workplace health and safety, workplace relations, vocational placement standards and vocational education and training.

Master Builders Queensland has a commitment to providing a quality service and a focus on continuous improvement. We value feedback from clients, students, staff and employers for incorporation into future programs.

Access & equity

All training delivered by Master Builders Queensland will meet the needs of individuals, the industry and the national training packages and/or accredited course requirements. The access and equity policy includes information about our non-discriminatory selection process of trainees.

Enrolment process

Expressions of interest may be made by phone, fax, post or online. Payment of applicable fees made by credit card, cash or money order, along with a completed Master Builders registration form, will constitute formal enrolment. Training courses are offered subject to a minimum number of paid enrolments and payment must be received to guarantee a place in the course.

External review

Master Builders Queensland has agreed to participate in external monitoring and audit processes required by the state training agency. This covers external quality audits, audit following complaint and audit for the purposes of re-registration.

Client service & training support

Our quality focus includes a recognition of prior learning policy, refund policy, complaints policy, and an access and equity policy. Where necessary, advice can be provided to clients who require literacy and/or numeracy support. Clients will be provided with information regarding fees and charges, course content and assessment procedures prior to enrolment.

Privacy

Master Builders Queensland has policies and strategies to ensure student records are managed securely and confidentially, which are available for student perusal on request.

Training & assessment standards

Master Builders Queensland engages personnel with appropriate qualifications and experience to deliver the training and assessment. Adequate facilities, equipment and training materials ensure the learning environment is conducive to success for students.

Discipline

Clients will be expected to maintain an acceptable standard of behaviour and dress while attending training with Master Builders Queensland. Behaviour that may be seen to be harassing or discriminatory in nature will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action being taken. This action may include temporary or permanent suspension from the training course.

Refunds

Clients must inform Master Builders Queensland of any cancellation of enrolment five business days prior to the commencement date of training. Clients are encouraged to transfer their enrolment to an alternative date. Where clients choose not to rebook in an alternative training course, a refund may be granted. No refund is given for cancellations received after this time. Requests for refund for cancelled enrolment within five business days of commencement will be given consideration upon application in writing.

Cancellation of courses

Master Builders Queensland reserves the right to cancel training courses or to postpone the course to an alternative date. All registered participants affected by such postponements will receive a full refund or be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available training course. If unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge.

Recognition of prior learning & credit transfers

Master Builders Queensland recognises Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other national RTOs. Clients are able to apply for assessment of their industry experience, skills and knowledge through a process of recognition of prior learning (RPL).
