Business Management Course
This training program has been developed by Master Builders and meets the managerial course requirements for contractors to apply for a Trade Contractor licence with the Building Services Authority (BSA).

Outcome
Upon successful completion of the necessary assessments, candidates will be issued with a Statement of Completion.

Accounting & bookkeeping, financial management, business planning, insurance for business, statutory requirements, workplace health & safety, communication & marketing, contracting in the construction industry, estimating, BSA licensing requirements, understanding financial requirements, budgeting, cash management, business structures, and taxation.
Delivery
- Face-to-face delivery – Face-to-face programs are delivered over two consecutive days and enable candidates to learn in an interactive environment.
- Distance learning – Master Builders also offers this program via distance learning throughout Queensland. Candidates are given three months to complete the assessment.

Eligibility criteria
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills.
Cost
Member: $300 ($125 for eligible participants*)
Non-member: $350 ($175 for eligible participants*)
Spouse: $75 (for face-to-face delivery only)
*Funding opportunities may be available for eligible participants. To be eligible for funding you must be: an Australian citizen living in Queensland or a permanent resident living in Queensland or a Queensland resident holding temporary visa and not an employee of a local, state or commonwealth body.
If you register online and are not eligible for funding, an invoice for the additional course fee will be remitted to you prior to your completion certificate being issued.
