General Safety Induction
The General Safety Induction – Work Safely in the Construction Industry (CPCCOHS1001A) (General Safety Induction) – teaches people the knowledge and skills described in the unit of competency to ‘work safely in the construction industry’. All people doing construction work in Queensland must successfully complete a general construction induction course recognised by Queensland law before they start work in any construction activity.

Half day (4 hours)
Outcome
Successful participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and a laminated general construction induction card.

Industry-trainer led, our face-to-face programs enable you to learn in an interactive environment.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must:
- Demonstrate a sufficient level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have photographic identification or equivalent (e.g. drivers licence, student card, passport).
