APPRENTICES
Master Builders understands the challenges faced by those wishing to enter into the building and construction field, especially in this current economic climate. However it is also important to understand that Australia, will again, need qualified trades people, so the industry must continue to offer training opportunities to new entrants.
WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP?
An apprenticeship is paid on-the-job training, supervised by a trade professional, combined with post-secondary education, supervised by a registered training provider. This means you can be earning a real wage while you learn.
Apprenticeships can be full-time, part-time or school-based. A full-time construction apprenticeship will take approximately four years to complete.
WHY CHOOSE A CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICESHIP?
- Earn while you learn
- Get a nationally recognised qualification
- Master a variety of skills
- Kick start your career
- Receive equal opportunities
- Use as a stepping stone to further study or your own business.
