The Queensland Government has announced an increase of the Portable Long Service Leave Levy, effective 1 January 2010.
- Portable Long Service Leave Levy at 0.3%
- Workplace Health and Safety Fee at 0.125%
- Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Levy at 0.1%
- Total levies and fee at 0.525%
The levies and fee are payable on all building and construction work, to be carried out in Queensland, where the total cost of work is $80,000 or more (inclusive of GST).
