Apprentice of the Year
To be eligible for the Apprentice of the Year award, the entrant must be either currently completing an apprenticeship or have completed their indenture between 31 March 2015 and 31 March 2016.
The entrant must be a member of Master Builders or currently employed by a Master Builders member.

Work placements and the skills learnt, competency results, ability to apply knowledge and concepts to practical situations, and further training
Communication, team & leadership skills
Effective oral and written communication, leadership skills, and ability to operate effectively in a team or unassisted, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships
Awareness of workplace health & safety issues
Awareness of workplace health and safety issues and compliance with relevant laws
Other pursuits, hobbies & extracurricular activities
Achievements in areas other than study and work, involvement in the community and other activities.
